The Multi Wood Clone Jutsu is a technique that was originally created by Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, using his Wood Style kekkei genkai. It was later, among others, mastered by his rival, Madara Uchiha. To use it, Madara or Hashirama first form the hand sign for the Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu and then, properly mixing Water and Earth Style chakra natures, create a multitude of wood clones that match their individual strength to either overwhelm or fool their opponent(s). Madara was able to use this jutsu in unison with his Susanoo to create an army of ethereal warriors which were able to overwhelm most of the Five Kage with ease, nearly killing some of them.
